Dorothy Gale is swept out of Kansas by a twister and dropped into the land of Oz, where the only way home is to follow the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. She picks up a Scarecrow with no brain, a Tinman with no heart and a Lion with no courage along the way — and a Wicked Witch who wants her ruby slippers.
BLOC staged the RSC version, with flying effects by Flying by Foy and 405 false noses for the Munchkins.
