Young Éponine

Description

As children, Éponine and her younger sister, Azelma, are described in the novel as pretty, well-dressed but in poor taste. They are pampered and spoiled by their parents, the Thénardiers, who run an inn in Montreuil, France. Young Éponine does little except taunt Young Cosette. She should be a smaller version of the grown-up Éponine and resemble Éponine in appearance and features. The role requires no solo singing or speaking.
